A whole lot of stuff has been going on this week. I am a first-time grandfather. Affectionately called Rabbit by her Pappy (that would be me; I just need to get the overalls), she made her entrance Monday evening.
So, this week’s entry is going to be pretty short…I’ve got a lot of other important things to do right now.
My wife and I decided to have our children young in hopes that they would give us grandchildren while we were still young enough to take them on adventures. I have no intention of being the Pappy that is being pushed around in a wheelchair by the grandkids. Not at all. I plan to be the sort of grandfather that the kids are excited to see because they have no idea what adventure will be next.
I am not quite as old as some of the gentlemen in these pictures, but you get the point.
